Manjari Phadnis! pity there are no explicit pictures of her anywhere on the net which I can paste – it would be QED 😉

The movie is, as the reviews say, about a group of slightly dysfunctional relationships and a pub – unfortunately we could identify some real life people with the movie characters so in that sense it is *real* and the end comment is also “oh so true!” but I won’t give any spoilers on that.

So while everything in the storyline unfolds very predictably, it would be unrealistic if it did not.

There were a couple of scenes where I felt the lighting was something that I would like to achieve in my photos, a shot of Maya in front of her notebook and a red coffee mug on the edge of the frame. The last freeze of Xenobia dancing. An empty arm chair in Rajiv’s home…

So while I will not go to a theater to watch this I am not sorry for wasting my time either.
