The best part of being a Hyderabadi is that you get to choose Urdu as your 2nd or 3rd language.I took Urdu as my 3rd Language and Telugu as my 2nd (it being my mother tongue) in school and learnt it till 4th.Unfortunately in class 4 I changed to ICSE syllabus from state syllabus where I didnt had a option of continuing my urdu again.

I can read Urdu but not good in writing.I can talk Urdu.And the way Hyderabadi’s talk Hindi is also helping me to remember my Urdu.
