Sssnake
We had a rather dramatic, though innocuous guest this evening
Aasim was really thrilled to have a snake BUT After a few photographs we released it in place where she could be safe from humans
Seriously, if you were in the States or any other place with a Child Welfare System, you’d be in jail for reckless child endangerment! I.e. if the snake were real.
Yes the snake was very much real, non poisonous – Aasim peered inside her mouth to verify that there were no fangs.
Besides Aasim is real comfortable with wild animals, snakes are such a common occurence where we live that it would be brutal to kill each one that came inside the house. Apart from snakes we regularly rear squirrel orphans, there is a fine specimen of “Rana Tigerina” living in a corner of our backyard. We had rescued a Crested Hawk flegdeling last year
Oh! yes not to forget the bats! the bats are comming the bats are comming
Trust me about yesterday’s quiz. You most certainly are a master of memoir.
Residents of cyberland probably take comfort in your normalcy (if not the normalcy of your life, at least the normalcy of journal itself). You update regularly and try to keep an honest representation of your life.
