In this particular picture, the Indian National flag is shown upside down. Which not only gives misleading info about the flag but is also punishable under the Flag Code of India, 2002. All ur pictures are a very good and even this one, but for this particular reason I would suggest it to be taken off or clipped to exclude the upside down flag.

That flag was not put there by me but there was in the scene, perhaps put by the street people and it does represent the irony of modern India - this is a journalistic representation of the fact rather than intentional disrespect.

I am sure no one intends disrespect to the flag. These people are probably unaware of the Flag Code. It is interesting that they are displaying the flag, however inappropriately. To me, it means they do think of themselves as Indians, no matter how marginalised their lives are.

Prashant seems to be worried about the flag; I am worried about his abbreviative English; ie - 'ur' instead of 'your'., etc. Surely someone so observant should spot his own short-commings! I write this as an admirer of all things 'orange city', my favourite city, where I have spent so many happy months in the past six years. Many thanks to tariquesani for so many fine pictures from Nagpur.
