• everything which has a price feeds someone else dinner.

    • Going the socialist way, are we?

      • no…that’s capitalism! Make your living from someone else’s need…

  • Everything with a price can be bought …

But some things can only be sold … never bought.

  • I don’t agree…some things, that we save up and buy, have great value…our first sofa set, that we saved up for a year to buy, is still in our drawing room… I can never bring myself to replace it!

We still have our 33 rpm LP’s that we painstakingly bought in the first year of our marriage..that music is SO beloved.

So…some “priced” stuff (by which, I presume, you mean material stuff) DOES have value, *I* think!

And think of a language course fee…or any other learning course…of course it has value!

    What do you think?

    • A corollary of the above sentence of mine would be “Only priceless things are valuable”

      • I would agree with *that*…and its reverse, “valuable things are priceless”…my old cassette tape of my daughter lisping her first joke, for example…
