Being able to shoot *indoors* at 1000th of a sec and f16!
You might get baked in the process though
Hmmm… entry amended for more clarity
Unfortunately you lose that freedom as soon as you step out
The Sun ensures your greater freedom outside, nothing better than Sun to light your subjects
How much did it cost?
The setup is essentially the same which JJ Mehta sells as the studio kit got it for 19k.
what cam do you have that allows a 1/1000 sec flash synch speed?
This comming from you – I have a sinking feeling that I missed something significant
)
I have a humble Nikon 5700 but the lights did sync at 1000th of a second if EXIF on this is to be believed
that’s great. the joys of electronic shutter. believe it or not, few dslr’s can sync with flash above 1/250th
Even I had assumed that it will not sync – till I by mistake I set the speed that high, my past experience with my old Yashica SLR with focal plane shutter was to have speeds less than 1/60th.
Thanks for the heads up on DSLRs
So, you finally got the studio lights ?
yep
