Men In Black

Click for larger version I have submitted this picture to https://dpchallenge.com for the theme “Trends” the title is “Men In Black : The Next Generation” a bit different interpretation of the challenge but I was tickled by the idea. Actually I wanted to do “Men In Black : Attack of the clones” with Aasim sitting between two parallel mirrors OR “Honey I Shrunk Morpheus” Aasim in Aviator Rayban goggles but they didn’t work out.

I also did 6 pictures on the Circle theme. There are a couple of more that I want to try out. Yesterday evening when we went to Swati’s parents, her father took out and gave me 2 polarising filters which exactly fit my camera!! Now i can eliminate all reflections from shiny surfaces. He also has a ring flash and a three head flash but the problem is my poor camera does not have an external flash connector.

  • He he,
you dont know me, but I thought I will drop a message anyway.

This is a very nice pic, made me smile when I saw the title. Good work!

    • made me smile when I saw the title
Mission accomplished for me 🙂 Thanks

  • That’s a great photo. I love the play of shadows on Aasim’s face.

    • Thanks – hope you saw the explanation of how the shot was set up – its on the larger image page

  • That is to cool!
he looks very very hip in that photo!

    • Thanks. Lets see if I can score better than 5 with this one. Largely depends on DPCers sense of humour…

      • I don’t have any software to view my camera’s settings I tried to enter but my photo doesn’t submit, I don’t know why

        • Those are not required fields while submitting. May be your picture was larger than 640 pixels in one of the dimensions OR the image size was greater than 150 kb

You can see EXIF info in photoshop – I don’t know how 🙁

Also you can download NeatImage from https://www.neatimage.com It is a noise reduction software but also shows EXIF headers

          • ok I changed it down in size but when I go to my profile it still says I have not entered a photo? and if I go to submit a photo my entry is still there and can be edited, does it do this until the voting starts?

            • Yes this is right – you can change the submission anytime till the voting starts. Which one did you submit? what title?

              • Turn on, Tune in, Drop out.
                Is what I called it
it’s not really very good but it’s a start for me.

              • is there a way to view the photo’s entered so far?

                • They appear on your profile page after the challenge is over
