Have posted my entry for the city life theme in the community, I am sure glad that they have started differentiating between photographed and photoshopped images. This is a 100% in camera effect, no photoshop not even compression. The picture was taken on a rainy afternoon in Bangkok, from my hotel room on the 10th (or was it 14) floor. After several botched up shots I was finally able to get the reflection of the bed in the window glass as well as the view of the expressways and the city skyline outside. If you look carefully you can see me holding the camera on the left side.
Nice pic.
Did it rain? It would be fun to click pictures that capture fallling raindrops.
Also, are those buildings some famous landmarks you’d like to name?
Yep it rained, the building are just some corporate offices
reaaally nice pic!
Thanks
A nice picture. I love the constrast between the reflection and the cityscape outside.
Thanks
Wow! Lovely pic. What is the place form where the picture has been taken? I would kill for such a view from my room
PS: I sit in a closed cube
This was taken from Hotel Sofitel Central, Bangkok.
I too sit in a closed cube but it is one which I can open anytime and walk next door to home or go out to sniff the mogra flowers or gloat over mangoes in the garden tree.
You like raw mangoes?
You got to be kidding! Do you work in heaven? I travel 34 kilometers [one-way] daily to get to this place and …
Oh yes, I like mangoes. The sour ones are better.
Well being your own boss got to have some teeny weeny advantages, hope my wife does not read this – actually she is the boss
The office is next door to our house
Here is a photograph of the mango tree to cheer you up
